Rain denies 1st XI victory v Fulwood

A century from vice captain Naveed Yousuf was in vain as the rain halted play after Norcross had put 230 on the board. Another great knock from Lee Helm gave Norcross the upper hand after another shakey start. Rick Bampied (golden duck), Chris Allan and Wrighty all failed to get in leaving Norcross on 36-3. Then, Helmy and Nav put on what must be up there as one of the highest wicket stands for many a year. A maximum 5 points gained on the day with it being rained off so well done lads.
